WHY AM I ALWAYS TIRED?

Or, more importantly... why do I need three coffees just to answer emails?

Remember when you could survive on four hours of sleep, a gas station hot dog, and pure determination?

Yeah, us too.

Then somewhere between work, kids, stress, and pretending you're still 25, your body started filing complaints with management.

The afternoon crash became a daily event.

Your workouts started feeling harder.

Recovery started taking longer.

And somehow falling asleep on the couch at 8:30 became less embarrassing and more of a personality trait.

So what's going on?

The truth is there isn't usually one reason.

For a lot of men, it's a combination of hormones, sleep, stress, recovery, and lifestyle catching up all at once.

YOUR TESTOSTERONE MAY BE DROPPING

No, this isn't an infomercial.

But testosterone plays a bigger role than most men realize.

Energy.

Motivation.

Recovery.

Muscle.

Focus.

Libido.

When testosterone starts to decline, many men notice they're just not operating at the same level they used to.

YOUR SLEEP MIGHT BE LYING TO YOU

You got eight hours.

Congratulations.

Unfortunately, if you're snoring like a chainsaw or waking up six times a night to check the thermostat, your body may not be recovering the way it should.

Sleeping and recovering are not always the same thing.

STRESS IS EXPENSIVE

Your body treats stress like you're being chased by a bear.

Unfortunately, your body doesn't know the difference between a bear and 147 unread emails.

Living in fight-or-flight mode all day eventually catches up with you.

YOU'VE ACCEPTED "THIS IS JUST GETTING OLDER"

This one might be the biggest problem of all.

Too many men assume low energy, brain fog, slower recovery, and feeling "off" are simply part of getting older.

Sometimes they are.

Sometimes they aren't.

The only way to know is to look under the hood.

THE BOTTOM LINE

If your energy isn't where it used to be, your body may be trying to tell you something.

And no, the answer probably isn't a fourth coffee.

If you're curious about hormones, recovery, performance, or simply feeling more like yourself again, the team at Your Energy MD can help you figure out what's going on.

Because feeling like garbage shouldn't be part of the aging process.
